The Word of God says, Jesus says, I will never leave you. I looked up the word 'never' in the Greek. Guess what It means? :) Never. He'll never leave you. No matter what you do; no matter where you've been.....[What's that key for Amazing Grace? What was that that we did it in on the tract, do you remember? I met a girl in prison, Carla Faye Tucker. She was to be executed for crimes that she had committed. I was prayin' for her. I met her, like, in '90 in maximum security prison. I went over to death row. I wrote to the Governor of Texas. And I asked him to please spare her life. And I got a letter back, which didn't appear that that was goin' to happen. And in fact, it didn't. She was executed. But the day before she was executed her husband called me. And said, 'Carla wants you to know she's in a win/win situation. If the Governor gives her a reprieve, or commutes her sentence, then she will be off death row. But Carla wants you to know, that even if he doesn't commute her sentence from death to live, she's still in a win/win situation, Jeff. Because she says she'll get to go to be with the Lord. The day that Carla Faye was executed, I watched CNN News and I saw people cheerin'. I had people come to me when I said I was prayin' for Carla Faye. And I had people come to me and say, 'You shouldn't pray. She's a murderer. She did this, she deserved that.' Yeah, duh, what do we deserve before we met Christ?

And second, I'd like to point out the fact, that I wasn't pleadin' for the life of a murderess. I was pleadin' for the life of a sister in Christ. Big Difference! What about you? The Word of God says, We all come short of the glory of God. You need to give it up to Jesus. You need to come and give your heart to Jesus. You're either gonna bow your knee now or you'll bow your knee then when you face Him, after you go from this life to the next one.

I want to read a poem that I got after Carla Faye was executed, that was sent to me by Carla Faye.

God wanted to plant a flower in a harsh and barren place
So He found a warped seedling, rejected by the human race
Men said the plant was hopeless, but He reached down deep inside
Replacing its horrible evil, with His love so deep and wide
Nurtured by God's gardeners, it took firm root and bloomed
Sharing His precious Sonlight, with the hurting and the doomed
The plant that's dry and wilted, cast away by human hands
Can blossum with life anew, in the Master's loving hands.

As I'm singin' this song I want you to pray. I want you to praise the Lord. I want you to worship the Lord. If you've never done that before, well, there's always the first time. Do it! Some of you people say, 'Well, I don't know about the Holy Ghost. I don't know if the Holy Ghost is for today.' He is alive. He is the same yesterday and today and forever. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is one with the Father - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Give it up. Let's receive the power of God into our lives. He'll help you to break through the bondage.
