We deal a lot with people out there who have been hurt, or who have been wounded, because of someone who has said something to them in the name of religion. Or people have come on to them about, 'You have to be this way' ; 'You have to live this way, live that way'. You have to live according to the Word of God, what God has taught us. And God is a God of mercy and grace. He's not some powerful being, creator of heaven and earth, who just sits up there with some kind of iron fist, waiting to smash us like ants running around. He is a loving God. He loves us so much, that He sent His Son, His only Son, to come and die in my place, and in your place. So that we could be set free from the bondage. All we have to do is receive that death on the cross; receive what Jesus did for us on the cross; receive Jesus into your heart, and you will be saved. The Word of God says in Matthew 23:21. And who so shall sware by the Temple, swares by it and by Him that dwelleth therein. If everything you've got is in your church, or your denomination, or in your religion; and you go around and say, 'It is because of this that I'm clean', or 'It's because of this that I'm righteous'. Well, it's not going to happen. I'll tell you right now, if you face somebody who is full of demons.....And there are a lot of people out there that are walking around with oppression in their life. But there are also quite a few that I run into that have been full of demonic and evil presence in their life. And you go to them, and say, 'I sware by the Temple', or 'I sware by my church that I have authority over you. And you are to come out. And you are to leave that person.' Or if somebody is attacking you. And you say, 'In the name of my church, I come against you.' I'll tell you what will happen. That evil spirit will rip your head off. You need to know by whose authority you belong to. And by whose authority hell trembles and bows. It's by the authority of Jesus.

You can bring any new age person to any one of my concerts, or anyone of my outreaches, or any place on the planet earth; when there's an evil spirit involved, and you're running into wickedness. You can have any new age person, you can have anyone in the name of religion, come up and say, 'In the name of religion, I take authority over you.' And nothin' is going to happen. You can say, 'In the name of Buddha I come against you.' Buddha's dead. You can say, 'In the name of Mohammed.' Mohammed is dead. You have to say the name above all names. And that name is Jesus.

To those of you who have been hurt because of people parading around like they got all the answers, like they have everything, all the answers in life. And like you're some kind of subjugated being compared to what they have. Let me tell you what the Lord has to say to some of these people. He says, conversely first of all, He that swares by heaven, swares by the throne of God, and by Him that sitteth there on. You need to know who God is. Woe unto you, Jesus said, Scribes and Pharisees. Hypocrites. You know what the word hypocrite means there in that particular place? Means 'insincere'. They're not sincere. It's like learning how to do somethin' a certain way. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Law, judgment, mercy, and faith: These ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, a tiny flea, and swallow a camel. Woe unto you, you religious hypocrites, is what He was basically saying, for ye make clean the outside of the cup and the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the ouside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepuchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypucrisy and iniquity.

We don't need people parading around in a form of religion in this country. Religion has done more damage, has done more to send kids out so called partying their way to hell, then anything else. Kids are not attracted to satanism. Kids are not attracted to the occult, by and large. What's happenin' is the devil is able to seduce, because there has been so much religion and so much hypocrisy goin' on out there. I would state that we need to see a move of God happen on the planet earth. We need to see a total commitment, where young people will turn to the Lord. And they're not going to turn through religious people making dictates and things. 'You have to do it this way. You have to do it that way.' Let me tell you, you have to do it according to the Word of God. And the Word of God says, All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Praise the Lord God.
