COMIN' BOLDLY BEFORE THE THRONE OF GRACE

Hallelujah. I'm gonna do I Exalt Thee [755k .wav file, 35 sec] number four of Celtic Glory tape. Then we're gonna go to prayer. Praise God. [We're gonna believe you're gonna get saved, tonight, Tim. Amen. :)] Hallelujah! [Naw, I'm just kiddin' around.] Amen. Praise God. How many know, God loves us all? We can be up-and-out; we can be down-and-out; somewhere in between; God loves us all. Time after time after time, when I meet a young person who's in trouble. And they come and give their heart to the Lord Jesus, inveriably, when I ask them they'll tell me, when I'll say, 'Do you have a mom or a grandma, who's been prayin' for you?' 'Yes.' You've been prayin' for your loved ones? You're prayers are not in vain. God is the author and finisher of our faith. The Word of God says, We and our household will be saved. God hasn't called us to judge. He's called us to witness. I don't judge. And I've been attacked for that. Been attacked, 'You know you're hangin' with homosexuals? And you're hangin' out with this....' DUH, excuse me, I'm hangin' with people, who have all come short of the glory of God, like we all have. And, if somebody asks me a direct question, says, am I in sin doin' this or doin' that? Is doin' drugs sin? I'll say, 'Yes. It's wrong.' The Word of God says, it's akin to witchcraft. You need to give your life to Jesus Christ. But I remember when I was a mess, if Nick had said to me, 'Sell your $3,000,000 house; give up all your rock'n'roll friends; throw your career into the trash.' I had been on the cover of Time Magazine, had millions of double albums, and all this other stuff. If he would have said to me; if he had given me a vision of where I'd have been now, tonight; I wouldn't have wanted it, because I was full of the devil. I had to get touched by the power of the Holy Ghost. I had to get delivered; I had to get set free. Let's all stand before the Lord. And we're gonna pray right now. Lord, I pray for everyone who is believin' for a loved one to get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. I pray that that loved one will know the truth; that the truth will set them free. And I plead the blood of Jesus over every discouragin' word; every misguided assault of the enemy that would come through any religious spirit against that person. I pray that that person will know Your love, Lord Jesus, Your love. Now, I pray tonight, Holy Ghost, have Your way in this place, in Jesus' name. Let's keep intercedin' and prayin'. This altar is open.

Hebrews 4:16 says, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace. It doesn't say, 'Let us come boldly to the throne of 'beat you up'. Let us come boldly to the throne of where you're gonna get smashed. Let us come boldly to the throne and crawl through glass on the way and hope that God will receive us. It says, We have a high priest who empathizes and understands everythin' that you are goin' through. The Bible says, He was tempted in every way, yet without sin. And earlier in verse 12, I think it is, it talks about the Word of God, Jesus is the Word; that it cuts through, separates spirit from flesh, if you will; like, bone and marrow. It says that everything that is done, God knows. God already knows what e're dealin' with. And it says, since we have a high priest who loves us, in essence, let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace. The body of Christ is healthy; the body of Christ is strong; the people of God love God. Let's come together in spirit and truth. This altar is open. If you just want to come and draw closer to the Lord and pray; and cry out to God; if you want to intercede for the schools for this area; whatever it is that God puts on your heart, you are welcome to come forward. I'd like you, teenagers to come forward; all you, young people, I'd like you to come forward. We need to pray for our young people. I exalt thee, Lord. I want to do Lamb of God [759k .wav file, 35 sec]. Holy Spirit, You are welcome in this place. I plead the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah. You say, 'I'm here tonight. I've known Jesus; I know who He is; but I've never given my heart to Jesus; I've never given Him my life. Tonight, you need to give your life to Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord God. Hallelujah. The Word of God says, All who call on the name of the Lord, will be saved. The Bible says that, If we confess Him, Jesus as Lord and Savior, with our mouth, and believe in our hearts that He raised from the dead, we will be saved. Let me say this, conversely Jesus said, If we deny Him before men, He will deny us before His Father. I've heard the argument, 'Well, if God's a lovin' God, He wouldn't send me to hell.' You're right. We send ourselves to hell, if we deny Jesus as Lord and Savior. He has given His life for us, let's bow our heads.

Lord, I know that there are some here tonight, like me, who have given our hearts to You. And we have received You as our personal Savior. And I've confessed you everyday since. It's been 15 years, now, that I've been confessin' You everyday. And Lord, I confess You and reaffirm my faith in You. And we reaffirm our faith in You, again, tonight. And we pray that You will continue to touch our lives, as we know You will. For You are the author and finisher of our faith. And Lord, we put all of our trust and all of our faith in You. We give You all of our problems. We come boldly before the throne of grace; and with prayer, with supplication, with thanksgiving, we make our requests known to the Father. In Jesus' name, in Your name, Jesus. And the peace that is beyond the world's understandin' and ability to understand, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Lord, we are more than conquerors through You, Lord Jesus, who strengthens us. And Lord, we give You every ability we have: every gift that You have given to us; we give back to You, Lord Jesus. And pray that You will bless and multiply everything that we give in and of ourselves, of our time, of our emotions, of our hearts. Lord, receive our hearts, receive my heart, and those of Your loved ones, tonight. And now, I ask, if there is anyone here in this place, who has not given your life to Jesus before; and you know that you're strugglin'; and you know there's struggles in your life; or maybe, you have given your life to Jesus, but for some reason, you've wandered away but you're not happy, of course, where you been if it's been apart from Jesus. Tonight, I want you to rededicate your life; or if you have not prayed the prayer to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then tonight, this is your moment to go from death to life. This is your moment to go from bein' eternal darkness to your moment to havin' your name written in the Book of Life.

The Bible says, Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy. If you've never given your heart to Jesus, that's the territory you've been livin' in. Death and destruction, desolation. And now, you're ready to come with the Lord Jesus. Jesus said, I have come that you might have life, and life abundantly. You say, 'I'm so tired.' Jesus says, Come unto Me all ye who labor, and are heavy ladened, and I will give you rest. I will give you rest. He doesn't say I might. This might happen. Jesus gives promises that He keeps. He keeps His promise. I've broken so many promises to the Lord in my time. We couldn't even get into that. But He is faithful. First promise I broke was with my career back at nineteen. I told God, whoever You are out there, I give you my talent. God took it and made a covenant with me. But I broke my promise. But He's faithful. That's why we're here and we're gathered here tonight. It's not an accident you're here. You're here because God loves you, and God has called you. Let's pray.

Father God, all of us, let's all of us pray in support of those who are prayin' for the first time. If you're prayin' and you're givin' your life to Jesus tonight, I want you to raise your hand up right now. Hallelujah, Praise God for you. If you're rededicating your life, raise your hand up right now. Praise the Lord Jesus. Praise God. Father God, I give You my life, in Jesus' name; I give You my heart, everything that I am; and all that I have; I give to You. Jesus, wash me in Your blood; wash away my sins; wash me clean. Heal me, Jesus, by Your strips, Your beatin', I am healed. Holy Ghost, I welcome You into my life. Fill me with Your Spirit. I am saved; I am born again; born of the Spirit of the Living God. My name is in the Lamb's Book of Life, and I will praise You forever and forever, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, in Jesus' name, Hallelujah. Amen.

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
