You know, Jesus owns this building here tonight, so we've got a little bit of time. How many of you will give me five more minutes? Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty, we've got time. :) I have a word for the United States of America. How many of you would be pleased if I'd give it? Raise your hands. :) Thank you very much. Praise the Lord. How many of you still love me? Raise your hands. :) Thank you very much. More than ever. Praise the Lord. Well, thank you brother. The world doesn't understand that, you know? The world doesn't understand the love that doesn't pass away.
You know, God has been merciful on the United States of America. He's brought us through the shadow of death. You know, S. H. stood up and he said, 'We're taking Kuwait and we're going to do what we please. For god is with us. My god is the true god.' S. H. stood up and he said, 'Our god is the true god. If you, United States, come against us, you will swim in your own blood. Bush is Satan personified and the United States of America is the great Satan.' So he said we serve the devil, is what he said. And then the United States got to watch S. H. get down; and kiss the ground; and stick his rear-end into the air; and call on his god. And we watched.
Let me read some Word here first. Fear not, for I have redeemed you, says the Lord. in Isaiah 43. I have called you by name. You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire.
And S. H. said, 'We're going to drop bombs on you. We're going to chemically mess you up. We're going to burn you. You're going to be 'krispy kritters', he said. Well, he didn't use those exact terms. :) The Word of God says, When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze. Remember the three in the furnace? The fourth man was Jesus.
We got ready for war. Then we started the bombing attack on January 15th, wasn't it? Did you know the Sunday following that, was the highest attendance in the churches of America that the United States had ever experienced? People called on the name of the Lord and they started praying. Because they realized, we're in a mess. We've gotten ourselves into a mess. And the dictator, S. H., said, 'This is a holy war. We serve the true living god. And the United States of America will burn.' And we heard Senators stand up on the floor and say, 'Are you prepared for fifty thousand dead?' Some Senator stood up and said, 'We have to be ready to receive fifty thousand body bags for this war. Are we ready for that?' And then we saw S. on his knees to his god. And the United States of America went on her knees, and called on the true living God; the God of Abraham; the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The Word of the Lord says, Do not be afraid for I am with you. The Word of God says, You are My witnesses. This is in Isaiah 43. You are My witnesses, declares the Lord, and My servant, whom I have chosen. So that you may know and believe Me. And understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed nor will there be one after Me. I, even I, am the Lord. And a part from Me there is no Savior.
The United States has gone off and followed false gods with S. M. I love you, S., but you're running a muck. You need to come to Jesus. You need to bow your head and come to the Lord. People have gotten into new age. People have gotten into all these fads, chasing after the fads. But when the 'going got tough, the tough got going.' And they called upon the God of their youth; the God that they loved. Praise Jesus, we did that.
The Word of God says, I revealed, and saved, and proclaimed. I, and not some foreign god among you. Let me tell you somethin'. The biggest Buddha temple in the United States, in the western hemisphere, is out in Hacienda Heights here. But I'm going to tell you somethin'. Buddha never did anything, never saved a soul. Buddha never has saved a soul. Buddha never died for anybody. Mohammed never died for anybody. They said on their deathbed, Mohammed said, 'I seek truth.' Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. God also, it's not in Isaiah 43 but He said, 'I will not be mocked. S. H. mocked our God.
The Word of the Lord says, You are My witnesses, declares the Lord, that I am God. Yes, and from ancient days, I am He. No one can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it? I am going to come back to that Scripture. I'm goin' to tell you somethin'. I was scared for our troops. I was worried about our troops. Not because I thought that technically we were down the tubes. Or that we didn't have the manpower and the woman power, if you will, to go out there and get the job done. But I have seen what's happening in the United States of America. I have gone into the schools. And I have heard them say to me, 'You're not going to talk about Jesus in our schools. Jesus is against the laws in the public school system in the United States of America.' Wake Up America. Wake Up America. Bring God Back To The Youth Of America.
I've seen what happened in Houston Texas. M. O'H., who is an atheist and actually went to court and got prayer out of the schools in the first place. Because some judges in the Supreme Court ruled that one person's right to be atheist superceded everyone else's rights in the United States of America to serve the God we love. Baloney! Phoney baloney macaroni! And now M. O'H. recently went back to court. And as I understand it, just won a decision in Houston Texas. And this BURNS me. She sued Houston Texas, M. O'H., because Mothers Against Drunk Drivers were placing crosses at the sites where kids and people were killed by drunk drivers. And M. O'H. went to court and got them to take every cross out of the streets and out of the places where people were killed. Because she said, 'It was a Christian symbol and we can't have it in the United States of America.' I've got a Christian symbol on right now. It says, 'Mega Life.' That's what that says for those of you that, you don't have to write in and ask what it says, 'Mega Life.'
As for me and my house, I'm proud of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm proud of the cross. I'm sorry that we're so messed up here. And that we've blown it since Adam. I'm sorry that Jesus had to go to the cross. I won't wish that on anyone. But I'm happy that my Lord and Savior went to the cross for me and for you. And died and delivered us out of death by his precious blood.
And then I remember last Christmas where we were not allowed to have anything. We could have a Christmas tree on the White House lawn. But they even came against that! And they went to court. And they won a decision that no Nativity scenes will be shown in Washington, D. C. No Nativity scenes were allowed on government property last Christmas [1990] in Washington, D. C. You know why they couldn't allow Nativity scenes in Washington last year? Washington, D. C. last Christmas? Because last Christmas they couldn't find three wisemen in the whole area, that's why.
And I cried for the troops. And I heard that they were not allowed to bring Bibles into Saudi Arabia. And I heard that they were not allowed to wear crosses around the neck. The Saudi government said, 'No'. And we acquiesced, we said, 'OK. We're going to passify you. We're going to do what you say.' And we sent our troops in and they weren't suppose to take Bibles. But you know what the troops did. They camouflaged their Bibles. Put them in camouflage paint and snuck 'em in. Revival broke out among the troops. So many troops got saved that the United States government in the Pentagram. Pentagram? Pentagon! Little slip there guys, the Pentagon. Whew! Was that a cool one. :) The Pentagon is studying it right now. Because they want to know why so many troops got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost over there. It was reported that over 10,000 young men and women were baptized in water over there.
Now I'm gonna tell you somethin'. I love General Shwartzkoff, or whatever, 'Stormin' Norman'. Looks like a bulldog that didn't get his food that day, when he was getting ready to go to war. Did you see that look on his face? Man, I mean, he could tell, he could say to me, 'Scrub those toilets.' I'd go, 'Yes Sir.' :) 'Right now, Sir.' But he's a man who commands respect. But I'm gonna tell you somethin'. General Shwartzkoff didn't save the troops of the United States of America. The Senate didn't save the troops of the United States of America. The troops were praying and they called on the name of the Lord. The United States bonded together and called on the name of the Lord. The Word of the Lord says, No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?
Those of you who were watching CNN News in the beginning of the war know even the world was saying this was something spiritual. Even CNN News on their 900 number said, 'Call in, yes or no. 1-900--- yes; 1-900--- no. Is this the beginning of Armageddon?' CNN News put that on the news.
So we called on our God. And I don't know how many of you were watching the news on the days that we stormed into Kuwait and went into the ground offensive? S. H. said, 'I'm going to shoot chemical warfare and weaponry against you!' And you know, when they went in there, the United States' troops, they found chemical weapons laying all over the ground, armed with chemical warheads. None of them were fired. Do you know why they didn't fire chemical warheads at the United States' troops? Do you want to know why we didn't get 10 or 20 thousand kids, our dear blessed ones, come home in body bags? Because the two days that we were in the ground offensive, it was pouring rain. And the winds were blowing 30 to 40 miles per hour; and the winds were blowing north! Towards Iraq! If the Iraqi army would have fired those missles against our troops the wind would have blown them right back in their faces. They couldn't shoot them.
I heard this and it's unconfirmed. Boy, I sound like one of those generals. 'Unconfirmed, but, uh.' :) I heard, and the Pentagon, if you guys want to comment on any of these things, great. But I heard that those men, who were coming forward and kissing the hands of our troops, were saying, 'Surely, truly, your God was with you.' They were surrendering. Listen to what the Word of the Lord says eight hundred years before Jesus was born. And tell me this doesn't apply exactly today United States, U. S. of A., United States of America. This is what the Lord says, Your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Remember Iraq is Babylon, ancient territory. The Word of God says, For your sake I will send to Babylon and bring down as fugitives all the Babylons. I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel's Creator, your King. Forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past. See, I am making a way in the desert and streams in the waste land. Then down towards the end of Isaiah 43 the Word of the Lord says, I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My sake, My own sake. And remembers your sins no more.
United States of America, you got down on your knees. You called on the name of the Lord Jesus. You called on God. God has forgiven us our trespasses. He has forgiven us allowing foreign gods in our living rooms; and crystals on our foreheads; and hm-m-m-m [chanting]; and all this other garbage; and the guru got you. And now, you need to get on your face. Stay on your face before the Lord. And continue in the ways of the Lord. God bless the U. S. A. Pray for the United States of America.
