I say, 'Let's take it to the streets. Let's take it right out on the front lawn. Let's do it.'

Somebody says, 'Well, we don't have a permit for that.' I say, 'Man, you can't hit a moving target. Let's hit and run. Get out there and preach it and get out of there.'

So, I'm out there and I had one of these big, I don't know how they set up the system, but they got something going out there. And I knew I had about ten minutes. And these homosexuals came up and some we're shouting at me because I was talking about Jesus. And they were openly parading and twishing and doing somethings that were really offensive to some of the people there. Of course, I was on Broadway for three years, so---. Praise the Lord God. You know most of my friends from the Broadway Cast of Jesus Christ Superstar that were homosexuals are dead of aids. Do you know that? It's true.

So I'm standing here and I'm looking at these people. And I'm thinking, 'I'm witnessing and trying to save your life. Trying to save your eternal life. And you guys are calling names.' So I started joking around. I'm singing, 'Oh happy day, when my Jesus washed all my sins away.' I was singing Oh, Happy Day. And I said, 'How many of you out there are happy?' Everybody raised their hands. That big football buddy of mine that's going into the Football Hall Of Fame, (he's a) big dude, you know. He stands there and I said, 'How many of you are happy?' He goes, 'Ye-a-a-ah!' like that. I said, 'How many of you are gay?' He goes, 'Ye-a-a-ah!' like that. I said, 'Not you, dummy, listen to what I'm saying.' :) He goes, 'What'd he say?' And somebody told him. And he went, tiptoeing from side to side, 'U-u-g-g-h-h!'

I'll tell you somethin'. We had a lot of people (who) came and gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord God. Praise Jesus.
