Hi, I'm Jeff Fenholt. And I want to welcome you here to our program called Highway To Heaven. I'd like to read, starting off out of Isaiah. The book of Isaiah, which I love, I love the book of the prophet Isaiah. So many tremendous things were foretold by that prophet, who lived some eight hundred years before Christ. Actually, my favorite Scripture in the whole Bible is Isaiah 53, where he talks about our Savior Jesus comin' some 800 years before the birth of Christ.
I'd like to read from chapter 43:1, Fear not, for I have redeemed you. Some of you out there, might be in fear. You might think that you've gone to far, and that you can't come to the Lord. But, I've got good news for you, the Lord says, Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. Some people come to me and the think, 'Well, God doesn't know me. How can He know someone as insignificant as me?' Well, to be honest with you, I think God would rather hear somebody come to Him and say, 'I'm a sinner. I feel insignificant.' Than someone comin' to Him and saying, 'Look how cool I am. Look how together I am.'
It's good to know that we have a Savior, and His name is Jesus. And that He is alive. We don't worship some god or some idol that is like dead wood, or steel, or somethin' made by a person's hands. I was watching a report that came from the nation of India. And we very much love the people that are there in India. But, I was seeing all this report on television last night about all the gods, the thousands I guess millions of gods, that they worship, many of the people there in that nation. And it is wonderful to know that our God created the heavens and the earth. And our God is not somethin' that we created out of our hands; but, He is the God who created us. And He is here to set us free. And the one that is free in the Lord Jesus, is free indeed.
You know, Reeni and I have been goin' through a lot of wild stuff lately. We've been seeing some awesome move of God with regards to, literally what's happenin' in the nation, what's happenin' in terms of our ministry and our office. People callin' in. We've been getting calls from some of the most wild people that have had backgrounds of darkness. We've been hearin' from a lot of grandmas, a lot of people that were raised in the churches well. Who have been feelin' a lot of tension about things goin' on in the nation.
But, the Word of God says, God has called you by name. You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And when you pass through rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. And the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.My Deepest Love,
