Jeff: It's good to be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. It's good to be saved. We're startin' out our show, and we've got crew head-bangin' out here; shakin' their heads, up and down, hair flyin'; all kinds of craziness; 'cause Goldy is on today. And we've been doin' a little bit of head-bangin'. All kinds of good things are happenin'. You know, a lot of people are gettin' saved in the rock industry; a lot of people are gettin' saved in television and all the entertainment industry. A lot of people are comin' out, givin' their hearts to Jesus. Some are stayin' where they are, and servin' God, and being a witness. And some are comin' out and doin' other things, praise God. I've come out from the world, come out from the tourin', come out from that stuff. And I've been praisin' the Lord here on Christian television, Trinity Broadcasting Network, I think we've been here about eight years, man [since 1988]. It's gettin' wild. Eight wild years. It's been the most excitin' eight years I have ever had in my life. And I've seen some things in the world. I mean, we've been on covers of magazines; and we've done all the rock'n'roll; we've done all the tours. I did all the pills, and the booze, and the craziness. We had a lot of money to just burn, and blow, and go, and all that kinda stuff. But I'm gonna tell you somethin'. Servin' Jesus is the best thing I've ever done in my life. Servin' the Lord is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Jeff: Goldy rededicated his life to Jesus. You know him from Dio. He was in the rock group Dio. Dio was the lead singer for Sabbath for awhile. Then you got into Dio. And went out and did a tour. What did you do, Monster's Of Rock Tour? You did a wonderful album [ :) ] called, somethin' like Grave Evil, or somethin' like that. Goldy and I we're in a band together [Driver]. And some of the guys back before that, some of the guys are startin' to call. Some people from Ozzy's band have been callin'; people from different groups, I won't name them all, but we've had a lot of people callin'.

Jeff: Goldy and I came on the air, probably six months ago or whatever, goofin' around. Just came on, you were playin' guitar and goofin' off. All of a sudden this huge thing of letters, people started writtin' in. And sayin', 'We want to hear more.' We've got to hear this. We've got to do that. So, Goldy and I did a couple of concerts. And saw a lot of people come out, saw some big crowds. Now, there' gonna be a few more concerts, this summer, towards the end of summer. We've booked a few fairgrounds. Didn't one of the guys from Sabbath talk about doin' some work on some of the stuff? [Goldy: Yes.] We might use this guy. We need to pray. A lot of wild stuff is happenin'. And people are givin' their hearts to Jesus.

Jeff:You gave your heart. You came back.

Goldy: I remember the shows that we did. I went to a convention every year. It's a hard rock, heavy metal convention. When I was in Dio, and then I went and did some song writing for the lead singer for Van Halen, I used to get recognized for those type of things at that convention every year.

Jeff: You've had, didn't you have a top ten hit, too?

Goldy: Yeah. We were in the number nine slot of MTV top twenty count down.

Jeff: You've had hits on you're own, world hits.

Goldy: In Japan, in Europe.

Jeff: You've even got hits now, don't you?

Goldy: Yeah. I got recognized more in that convention for the thing we did together, then any of that stuff. People are watchin'.

Jeff: Well, but that's freaky, too. If you're on MTV, and you're playin' guitar. Everybody goes, 'Oh, there's Goldy. Wow.' You know? But, then you're on christian television, and you say, 'I love the Lord.' Down deep, first of all, that freaks people out. 'Cause they're thinkin', 'What's goin' on here?' But second of all, people down deep have a hunger for the Lord. [Goldy: They sure do.] I mean, I'll tell you the truth, I very rarely talk to anybody that, if I talk about Jesus they just shine me on, or get heavy, or shine Him on as it is. Most of the time, unless people are just really, really bound up, they're heart is just hardened, or whatever; very rarely will people say, 'I don't want to know anything about God; or I don't want to know about the Lord.' Usually people have a heart, especially musicians. People talk about bein' into satanism, and everything; there's a few that we've met that are into that. We won't name any names, less we should get any calls from their managers yellin' at us. But, seriously, some are into, and have been into the occult; but even the one that you and I, both, know [who lives in Connecticut :) ], that's been into that; even he has a heart down deep when you talk to him about the Lord. I was able to lead his manager to the Lord, not too long ago. So, a lot of good stuff is happenin'.

Anyway, the Word of God says in Psalm 100, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord, He is God. It is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, the sheep of His pastures. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; And His truth endureth to all generations. Praise God. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Let's do a kinda laidback thing we just wrote. And it's called Deep Calls Unto Deep. I'm gonna have to read the lyrics. I can't remember them, we just wrote them. It's weird to do rock'n'roll sittin' down. Isn't it?

Goldy: You know, I like that song.

Jeff: You like that song? Deep does call unto deep. Things that are deep call unto things that are deep. If you're like surface, you're gonna get nothin' deep. :) Amen. How many know you've gotta get into things of God to find out what's happenin'? The Word of God says in I Corinthians 7:20, let me talk to some of you, and I'm not tellin' ...Let me preface this, we're not sayin' to go from sin to sin. The Word of God says, That the just will live by faith. We're to go from faith to faith; from glory to glory. So don't get me wrong. I'm not sayin' if you were messed up, and you were doin' some diabolical, if you were caught in some slime pool; if you give your heat to Jesus that you are to stay there, or whatever. But the Word of God says in I Corinthians 7:20, Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Now, some people think, 'Well, I don't think this pastor should be doin' this thing. Or this woman should be witnessin' over here. Or these should be doin' that.' Well, maybe, that's because you're not called to that. Maybe that's not the callin' that God called you to. You have come to your destiny when you give your heart to Jesus. You've received your destiny in Christ. You are predestined to be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. God knows that you are goin' to serve Him. And if you're truly saved, you're never gonna want to turn away from Him. You're gonna go on with the Lord. But know, when you reach your callin', that's where God has called you to reach or to minister. Goldy is one of the top guitarist in the world, I mean, there's just no doubt about it. The man can kick. And so, some people would say, 'Well, why don't you go out and get on a corn combine, and go out and plow fields or whatever?' That's cool, man, if you're into plowin' fields and doin' that; if God has called you to do that, and to help feed people and feed hungry. That's a callin' that God has put on your heart. But, somehow, I don't see this guy [Goldy] sittin' up there on a...[combine, see, praise God. Somebody in this place knows what we're talkin' about, here. Thank you Jesus, for Godly men and women who serve Him.] But, my point is this, you need to go and do what God has called you to do. Let everyman abide [remain] in the same calling, wherein he was called. I Peter 4:10,11 says, As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth; that God in all things maybe glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Praise God. Do you think we can make a joyful noise unto the Lord? I don't know, it's kinda hard to do a head-bangin' thing when you're sittin' on a couch. You want to try and do Shake Him Down?

Shake the devil down. How many know we have overcome by the blood of the lamb, and the word of our testimony? Pray this prayer, those of you who are out there. If you like head-bangin', then why don't you bang the devil's head in the name of Jesus? If you're into gang-bangin', why don't you join Gang-Bangers For Christ? New gang, new bang. Give it up to Jesus right now. Some of you out there, you think you're gonna party. Let me tell you somethin' The party is in heaven The party is not in hell. The party in hell has been cancelled due to fire. The party is with Jesus. Give it up, right now. Say, 'Lord Jesus, I call on You in my heart. All that I am, all that I ever will be, I give to you, Lord Jesus. Write my name in your Book of Life. Deliver me, set me free, give me strength, fill me with the Holy Ghost. Holy Ghost, I receive you. Let the Sprit of the living God dwell in me. I denounce the devil, I denounce evil; and I receive that which is good. I receive life, I reject death. For I'm a child of the most high God, and I belong to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Praise God.
