JESUS TOOK IT ALL

Hi, I'm Jeff Fenholt. I want to welcome you. And we praise God that you're watchin'. You know, you might have stopped, switchin' through the channels, and said well, let's check this out. Maybe, this is a head-banger conversation, or some kinda rock group thing that's doin' this or that or the other thing. We've had people contact us, guys from different head-bangin' groups that said, 'I was switchin' through the channels and saw you. And remember you from this place or that place.' Well, let me tell you somethin'. You might think you turned on for just a couple of seconds for one reason. But I can tell you right now, that Jesus loves you. And that the Holy Spirit is at work in your life. You might not think that you're important in the world. You might think, maybe even think, that nobody loves you. you might say, 'Well, I've really messed up. What's left for me?' Let me tell you somethin'. You are so important to your Father in heaven that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to go in your place. To take every dark thing you could ever do in your life, every mistake you will ever make, Jesus took. Or ever have made, Jesus took on the cross with Him. And He died for our sins.

He died for me while I was still sinnin', and still cursing Him, still callin' Him names. I used to blaspheme God. I was in the production Jesus Christ Superstar. And sang Jesus on the album, Original Broadway Cast album. Was the original on Broadway, and on the cover of Time Magazine. And people durin' all this time were askin' me all about God. And I said nothin' but disgustin' things. Mock Him. Mock God. Then went on to sing in heavy metal bands. Sang in Armageddon rock group, sang in Black Sabbath, sang in the Bible Black Tour, were members from that tour were murdered. And all this heavy stuff that went on in my life. Lived in mansions, been what the world would call successful, buyin' all the heavy cars, and all this stuff. And yet, durin' that whole time I was mockin' God. I said, 'Christians are wimps. I don't fit into Christians. I've gone to church, I know what church is about. I went in durin' a revival, one time, and they kicked me out, because they didn't think I was good lookin' or that I was clean enough for them.' Let me tell you somethin'. Jesus says that you can come to Him exactly as you are. Where Jesus has set you free, you're free indeed. When you are set free in the Lord Jesus, you're free indeed.

So this is not an accident that you've tuned in, right now. And that you're watchin' this telecast. This is inspired of God. And you are goin' to receive a blessin' today, in the name of Jesus. Some people out there say, 'Well, I've known God. I can't seem to get it together. I don't know what's gonna happen in my life.' Romans 6:1,2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? That means, OK, we know God; we know Jesus; I have given my heart to Jesus, but I don't know if I'm gonna serve Him. The Word of God says, What shall we say, shall we continue in sin? Shall we go back and snort cocaine? And do things that do nothin' but lead to death? Shall we mess around, and have elicit sex? Which today in the year 1993 is actually, as disgustin' as it sounds, you fall one time sexually with a person who is infected with a disease, and you can die from that one time. Do we continue on in these ways? Do we continue on lyin' and cheatin'? Do we continue tryin' to see how much we can keep one foot in the fire, and one foot in the kingdom of God. The Word of God says, No way, man. No way. The Word of God says here that, Some would say that I'll just sin, that grace will abound. Let grace abound. 'I'm saved, once saved always saved, man.' Or, 'I know God. I'm gonna be cool.' Well, the Word of God says, Some people would say well, we believe that grace will abound. But then the Word of God says, God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer there in? When we come out and give our heart to the Lord Jesus, we've got to follow the Lord Jesus. We don't need to follow this person, or that person. We're not goin' to follow some guru. We're not gonna dial into the pyschic channel, and pay a couple bucks a minute or what ever it is, to hear about things that have to do about the stars. I'm not gonna check out all that garbage. I'm not gonna say, 'I'm a Chrisitian.' And read my horoscope. You know what I mean? The Word of God says, We are dead to sin, and we have no business livin' any longer there in. That's Romans 6:1,2

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
