JESUS LOVES ALL OF US

Praise God. Anybody still think it's boring serving Jesus? Let me tell you what's boring. Boring is serving the devil. It's exciting serving the Lord Jesus.

I got together with Nick Disipio a couple of weeks ago and I praise God. He was down in Miami, Florida. I was doin' an outreach in the inner city of Miami. And, you know, they were expecting all kinds of trouble. There was all kinds of stuff happenin' in the inner city of Miami, somebody told me, when I was getting ready to go in and do the outreach. I said I wanted to stop and get some coffee. And the guy who was driving me, who loves me by the way, is from the center of Miami. He looked at me and said, 'I don't want to stop with you and go in anywhere. 'Cause these people are not christians. And you're the wrong color.' But, you know, where God guides, God provides. Did you know that? And we wound up doing an outreach and hundreds of people got saved. Hundreds of people came to the Lord.

America has got no social problems. We have a spiritual problem in America. Christians get along. Christians get along. Maybe some kind of doctrines don't get along, but we ain't talking about man-made junk. We're talking about christians. People who love God. People who are washed in the Blood. We get along, don't we? How many love me out here right now? Praise God. I don't just see white hands raised right here. I see all different colors. Praise God. We're the body of Christ. We get along!

We had a man come in at the church Sunday morning and give his heart to the Lord. His name was Edwin. He walked in and went forward. Had a baseball cap on. Was all dressed up. He was crying and he was walking kinda tough. I mean he was having a hard time. But he walked up and tears were running down his face. And I found out that he'd been standing outside with no shirt on. And he was dirty and a drug addict. Edwin came forward though and he said, 'I'm giving my heart to the Lord.' See. Now I found out the story. The men in the church where I was, the elders went to him. And said, 'Don't you worry about having a shirt. And don't worry if you are dirty. You come on in and give your heart to the Lord. Don't worry about it.' And this man who was hurting, he stood out there crying. He said, 'I've come to the right place. I've come home. I know I need Jesus, but I'm embarassed. I can not go before my Lord looking like this.' He said, 'Something has happened. I feel the power of God on me. And I want to go before God. But, I'm dirty. I'm miserable. I can't go in. I can't. Please, I can't.' So the elders didn't say, 'Well, then, OK. You sit out here.' You know what they did? They joined together. They each gave some money. And the one that lived closest took Edwin to his house. Gave him a shower. Put him in a brand new shirt, brand new pants. Went out and brought him a brand new pair of shoes. And even got him a baseball cap. He brought him back to the church. And Edwin went forward and gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I've mentioned this story before; but, you know, there are some people that think they're all clean. Yet they're all dirty. Am I coming down on you? No. But I will come down on anybody that is a hypocrite. We don't need hypocrites in the Body of Christ. You hypocrites are, quite frankly, the ones who are coming on to me all the time. Telling me what a messed up jerk I am. Let me tell you somethin'. I know what a messed up jerk I am without the Lord Jesus. I don't need somebody to tell me. Jesus is my righteousness. Jesus is the reason that I'm not on drugs, and that I don't do drugs. Jesus is the reason that I'm not committing adultery. And that I haven't committed adultery since I've been serving the Lord. Jesus is the reason for all of it. So, you're right when you point the finger at me and say, 'You're a jerk.' You're right, but now I'm under the blood of Jesus. So, I'm a righteous child of the King.

Jesus never came down on a sinner, did he? Never. You show me in the Scriptures where Jesus said, 'You long haired, head-banging, biker, slob. You gang-banging jerks, you cowboys, you moron.' Where? Show it to me in the Scriptures. Never! Jesus always reached out with love.

The hypocrites brought a woman to him. Threw her at his feet and said, 'Look at this whore. Look at this hooker. Look at this. What are you going to say now. We're not just pretending, she's a whore. We caught her in the act! Now Mr. religious leader, Mr. Jesus, what are you going to do? You know what the Law says. You know what the Law says.'

Jesus scribbled in the dust. He picked up a rock. The difference between Jesus and me, I would have thrown it at them. :) I would have said, 'You -----.' But Jesus picked up the rock and walked over to the men. I wonder what the look on Jesus' face was when He looked at those men. He said, You, You without sin, cast the first stone. Go ahead.' And then, this isn't in the Scriptures, this is out of the book of Jeff. But I don't believe Jesus gave the rock and then got out of the way, walked off and left her standing in the middle, to see if they'd throw. I believe He handed them the rock. And, I believe He stepped right in front of her. Now we don't know that, so I don't need any letters saying, 'That, that's not in the Scripture.' I know it's not, but I just, the closer I draw to Jesus, the more I know how deeply He loves all of us that have wandered away. He said, Throw the first stone. It said that the men disappeared.

Then Jesus turned around and He said, 'You hooker.' 'You sinner.' :) He said, Where are your accusers now? Where are they now? They're none here. And neither do I accuse you. He didn't have to accuse her, He knew! And she knew! And she knew that she was in the presense of God. So, He didn't say, 'Alright, do 28. I want you to crawl across glass, here. And I want you to pray 150 times - I will not sin, I will not sin, I will not sin, I will not sin.' :) No, He didn't say that. Jesus said, Neither do I accuse you. And then he took her by the hand, I'm sure, lifted her up, and her fear departed. And I know she thought, 'I'm in the presense of my Savior.' You know, He was her savior right then. He just saved her from death. Just the way He saved you from death, and you from death, and me from death.

The devil is still handing rocks to people and saying, 'Throw rocks.' You know what I mean? But it ain't a righteous kind. It's a kind of kill 'em, you know? But Jesus is our shield and our strength. And He said, Go and sin no more. Didn't He say that? Doesn't Jesus love the sinner? Doesn't Jesus love people that are lost? All the people of the land? And those who love Him and who call on His name everyday? Jesus loves all of us!

You know, some people say, 'Well, a homosexual can't get saved.' I'm sorry. Homosexuals can be saved. You say, 'If they're committing homosexuality, then they can't be saved.' You just lead 'em to Jesus and let the Lord sort it all out. Will ya? Just give 'em love. Show 'em love. You say, 'You're taking kind of a light attitude there. Aren't you?' No. I just found out another friend of Reeni's and mine has got Aids. A homosexual friend of ours, that we love. And I'm sorry if that offends some people. We love people that are out there. And it doesn't always have to be somebody who happens to believe exactly the way we believe. And we're praying for him. He's been so nice to us. You know, Jesus loves him, too. Does that mean there's one hell for adulterers and another hell for homosexuals? One hell for heterosexual adulterers that are running around on their wives and beating their kids? And another one over here for homosexuals? Let me tell you somethin'. Without Jesus it's all going into the same fire. You know that? Jesus came down bigtime, He came down on hypocrites. Let me tell you my definition of a hypocrite. A hypocrite is a person who will overlook their own sin to point the finger at somebody else's. Well, let me tell you, you hypocrites, we bind that spirit. We bind religious spirits. 'Oh, get them, standing there.' Let me tell you somethin'. You ain't going to heaven because of your grandma or your auntie or your father or your mother. You're going by your relationship with the Lord. And God says, You're going to know my people by the love they have one for another. We're not called to agree with each other all the time. We're called to love each other all the time. Praise the Lord God. Somebody say, 'I want to see unity in the Body of Christ.' Say, 'Amen.' Somebody, we're going to see unity! Praise the Lord God. We've got a rowdy crowd here, man! Praise God. Praise the Lord Jesus!

'Jeff for President'. Jeff for President? And then, what's the motto going to be? A troubled man for a troubled nation? Or what? :) No! Actually, I'm ah, ---- that's pretty good wasn't it? :) Actually, I'm not troubled. I'm standing on the Rock of salvation. Praise God. Praise the Lord Jesus. Let's worship the Lord!

Holy Spirit, we welcome You. You're greater than the skies. I don't have words. There is nothin' I can say. Holy Spirit, we love You. Holy Spirit pour out upon all flesh. Pour out, Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, upon all the unsaved and all the saved. Pour out upon the Baptists, and the Pentacostals, and the Methodists, and all the people that call themselves this or that. And let us become one, Holy Spirit. By Your power, comfort us, Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Spirit. Who loves the Holy Spirit? Just praise the Holy Spirit. If you love the Holy Spirit, praise Him. If you're not quite sure about raising you're hands out there, don't get nervous. Just think you're at a football game, raise your hands anyway. Praise the Lord Jesus. Just pretend you're at a football game and Jesus showed up. That's a pretty good one there, I like that. :) Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord Jesus. Praise God.

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
