MANNA II

Excerpts, 1998

VICTORY IS OURS

Whoa, Hello, Praise God. well, how many would rather be here than the best jail in town? Praise God. That's good. I'm glad to be here. I'm havin' a good night. I got some sleep this afternoon. I'm havin' a fairly good hair day. :) Doesn't take much to make me happy these days. Man, I'm tellin' you, before I was saved, I used to complain about everything. And now, the only thing that I complain about is just, I want more of the Holy Ghost. And that's not complainin'; that's just bring it on. Holy Ghost. Praise God. I think our pastor, here, is an awesome pastor. I really do. And I believe the pastor and his wife and family, we need to continue to pray for them; lift up the Lord Jesus in their life; pray the blood of Jesus over them. Because how many know, when you start stickin' your head up out of the fox hole, the enemy likes to come and hit on it. And our pastor is strong, and he's got a strong family. But, you know, it's not just up to me; it's not just up to Pastor Pat; it's up to us, as the body of Christ to join ranks and take it to the enemy, in the name of Jesus. Victory is ours in Christ Jesus. And this work is raisin' up in this area. And I believe, it's gonna be a beacon of light to the whole region, if not the whole nation and throughout the world. This is a young pastor. I like this. I like seein' young people servin' the Lord, and I like seein' things like this happenin'. I believe there's incredible breakthrough comin' here in this ministry. Praise God. How many would like to be a part of this? That's good. We got unanimous with that. How many visitors do we have here tonight? Raise up your hands. Raise 'em up high. How many visitors? A lot of visitors. So, now, all you visitors, you should join this church. Let you think about that for a minute. Now, pastor wouldn't say that, because he knows that the other...there would be people in the area who would say that he was tryin' to steal members from other churches. But the way that I look at it is, if you gotta tie the dog to the porch, it ain't your dog. :) Hallelujah! We've got Steve back there on the sound; we've got Tim who is so excited to be playin' drums tonight [Jeff will be teasin' with Tim throughout this nugget - he was havin' a lot of fun!, you can just see it written all over his face. :) (as Tim bangs on the drums) This ain't Motley Crue, tonight, brother. (Tim bangs on the drums again) Just for that, what do you call a drummer without a girlfriend? Homeless. Hahaha, no, I'm sorry, that was not part of the anointed part of the evenin', tonight. Hahaha. Now, he's gonna purposefully mess up my stuff. It's kinda like a waiter, you don't want to complain about the food before you get it.] Yes, I'd like to do Marching In Jerusalem How many know we're goin' to the new Jerusalem? The Lord is comin' Hallelujah. Let's go a head there, brother. Hallelujah. You're goin' like this. Does that mean I'm crazy or keep goin'? Somebody told me once that I was crazy. I said, 'I may be a nut, but atleast I'm screwed to the right bolt. His name is Jesus Christ.' Hallelujah. [Just had to get that in, didn't you brother? :) His new nickname for the church is 'BamBam' from now on.] Has anybody got the joy of the Lord here at Living Word? Who loves the Holy Ghost in this place? Holy Ghost, You are welcome in this place.

AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I'm feelin' good. My mother's given her heart to the Lord. Praise God. My mom lives in Columbus, Ohio. I get to see my mom tonight. How many have family your believin' is gonna get saved? We're gonna believe tonight. We're gonna see it happen. Hallelujah. We're tired of messin' with the devil. We're not gonna mess with the devil. We've got the power to tread upon serpents and scorpians. Hallelujah. How many have been through some struggles lately? The operative word is 'through'. Praise God. What God doesn't deliver you from, He will deliver you through. Jesus said, I will never leave you; I will never forsake you. If ever I start thinkin' that I'm doin' real well, which I believe I am, and I start thinkin', 'Well, I'm strong now. Praise God.' And get distanced away from the day of impact, the day the demons got hit square in the head by the power of the blood of Jesus on my behalf. All I have to do is to think back to where I was when the Lord touched me. And maybe, even more to the point, where I was an hour before the Lord touched me. Do you remember the moment you got saved? Wasn't that an awesome, awesome experience? And your life was forever changed.

Some people say that they believe, 'Once you're saved, you're always saved.' I believe, 'Once you're saved, there's nowhere else you want to be; once you're truly saved, then, with the Lord Jesus Christ.' I've gone through struggles, again, 'through', operative word. I've done things after I got saved, I backsled some. And I was ashamed of things that I did. And that was a major victory. If you think about it, what a revelation. I woke up and I was actually ashamed of what I had done the night before. Some people would say, 'Well, goodness. That's just such a bad witness.' No, God was workin' on me; God was changin' my life. I was comin' out of darkness; I was comin' out of all the garbage that I had been into. Some people want to clean the fish before they catch 'em. Amen. My pastor...one time somebody came up. And I was standin' with my pastor. And somebody came up and said, 'I've been a Christian twenty-five years and blah-blah-blah.' And he said something really nasty. And I said, 'Whoa, pastor, what is...why did somebody say somethin' like that to me in front of you?' He said, 'Well, what do you get when an idiot gets saved?' I said, 'I don't know. What?' He said, 'A saved idiot.' He said, 'You have to renew your mind.' But, how many of you know, we have to let the Lord in? We have to let Him work on us. And, wherever we are today, we're gonna be in a much better place tomorrow. So, we can't get all copacetic, all happy, all satisfied, all just like, you know, I'm gonna sit here like a lump. We're goin' on with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. I don't care what you have been through; I don't care...I do care what you're goin' through on a personal basis. I care about all my brothers and sisters in Christ. But my point is this, whatever you're goin' through, God is gonna bring you through it. And you're gonna come out the other side victorious, in Christ Jesus. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Let's do a fun song. Let's do A Whole Lot Of Praisin' Goin' On. [You're gonna like this one, Tim. This is gonna be your moment to shine. Hahaha, we're goin' from BamBam to HotDog. Hahaha. There you go, Tim.] Praise God.

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
