This is Jeff Fenholt. Welcome to the broadcast. You know, I put my faith in Jesus Christ. I used to put my faith in myself. What a mistake that was. :) I used to put my faith into drugs, or pills, as it were, and doctors who prescribed those for me. And that obviously got me nowhere but hooked. I used to put my faith in booze, and women. There's even a rock'n'roll lyric that says, 'I'm finished with my woman 'cause she couldn't straighten out my life.' Duh! And I've come to find out that where my faith belongs is, faith in God. The God who created the heavens and the earth. Jesus is Lord and Savior over my life. I have faith in the power of the Holy Ghost. I have faith in one God, in three persons -- the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And I know that my life is set. And as long as serve God; confess Him as my Savior; and do as is written in the Book; that, I know, I will be on terra firma, if you will; and spiritually, I'm on solid ground. Praise God.
The Word of God says, Without faith, it is impossible to please God. And in Mark 9:23, Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe. All things are possible to him that believe. You think you can't get a handle on your life? You think you can't overcome? 'Oh, my dad was that way. And I'm that way.' Or, 'My mother was that way. And I'm like that.' Or, 'This has been goin' on in our family for generations.' All things are possible to those who believe. Do you believe? I believe in Jesus Christ. I want to do Marching To Jerusalem.

Well, I'm glad to be here with you. I'd like to be able to talk about the Lord and what He's done for my life. And again, Mark 9:23, Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe. I've seen a lot of people with faith. And the Word of God says, I have never seen the righteous forsaken. That's true. That's the obsolute truth. I've had faith in my life. It's been built, it's been built up over a period of time. The Word of God says, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So, when I first got saved, I'll tell you, the faith that was already in me from the moment I got saved, happened because of something supernatural that happened in my life. You see, I was bound up and I was full of demons. I know people don't like to talk about that, oftentimes. And they're are some that would say, 'Well, I don't believe in demons.' Well, if you don't believe in satan; if you don't believe in the supernatural; and you don't believe in demons, we're just gonna believe and pray that you don't run into one. But, if you do, you'd better know the name above all names, and that name's Jesus.
I believe in the supernatural. And I believe in the supernatual God, who is workin' supernaturally in my life to bring me to an expected end. I know the thoughts that God has of me. Not thoughts of evil, but thoughts of peace. And He will bring me, I believe, to an expected end. And my end in this life, is to go on and be with the Lord.
But, you see, that faith that I have now was not in me, necessarily, from ground zero or day one. All that I knew was [the faith that I had when I got delivered and I got set free] was that from the time I was a little boy, I wanted to be in rock'n'roll. And I started doin' hit records. And that I had built all this money; and brought all these homes; and traveled the earth; and sold albums; and hung out with all the people I wanted to hang with. I mean, you have to remember, when I was growin' up the Beatles were, you know, top of the heap. And I signed, at nineteen years old, to the Beatles' manager. and then wound up on the cover of Time Magazine that year, and all this stuff. And I had built myself up to were I was wealthy; I was young; I was arrogant.
But what really wacked me was, I got full of the devil. You say, 'How did that happen?' I can honestly tell you, 'I don't know.' I don't know if it was from the dope that I smoked. :) I can laugh now, because I've been set free. I've got the joy of the Lord now. I was smokin' dope. And, YES, I did inhale. Also, I went to occultic practices. I had people doin' my charts. People tellin' me that I was a child of Babylon. Well, duh now, I'm a child of the King. They told me that I was born under a bad sign. Well, I've been reborn under the sign of the cross. They told me I was a child of darkness. And that's why when I spoke in darkness and sang [I didn't speak] but when I sang, everybody came out. Well, now, I'm a child of the light. Somewhere I got bound of demons. Maybe it was at the big satanic gathering that I went to in Florida, where they were drinkin' blood and all this stuff was happenin'. I don't know. All I know is, that I got filled and possessed of evil spirits. And I thought that there was no way out.
Now what built my faith like that, was when Nick Desipio laid hands on me at my house. And, praise God, I saw the power of God. The Word of God says, I will deliver him for he acknowledges My name. I believe that's in Psalm 91. And I acknowledged God's name. I stepped out with a minny faith the size of a mustard seed. :) And Jesus said,If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Well, I took that faith as a non-believer who wanted to believe. Without faith it is impossible to please God.. If I had said, 'Well, God, you can't do anything for me anyway. Don't pray for me. I don't wanta, I don't want your prayers.' Well, if they had said, 'Well, I'm gonna pray.' 'Well, then, you pray. But I don't believe all your stuff.' You know. If I had gone on with that attitude, I would still have been possessed or worst [if there can be worse, which there is]. I'd be in hell right now.
But I stepped out with faith the size of a mustard seed. And I was too proud and too arrogant to speak it in front of the men who wanted to pray for me. So, silently in my heart, I said, 'God, if you can help me, help me.' And then those men came, laid hands on me, and in the name of Jesus, I got delivered. I got set free. Fear left me. Hatred left me. Drug addiction, pyschological, physical dependency on pills, left me. Drunkenness left me. Because I was drunk, because I constantly had to try to pour something on all the pain. And so, the minute that happened, wham, I had faith. the Word of God says, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things to come. That's in Hebrews 11:1. And the Word of God again in Romans 10:17, Now then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. When I first got saved, I said, 'Whew, I feel differently.' I looked different. I am acting different. I'm gigglin'. I'm laughin'. There's a joy inside of me. And I had faith. I went to bed and I slept without pills. I slept without drunkenness. And I woke up, and I said, 'God is God. Jesus is Lord.' The beginning of wisdom is knowledge of God.
But then, Faith comes by hearing. And hearing by the word of God. I got into the Word of God. I got into Bible believin' teachers. I got into church. I went to church everytime I had an opportunity. I sang in churches for free. And this is a guy who wouldn't walk across the street for free before I got saved. And I used to say, oh you know, they'd say, 'Well, we want you to sing for something.' And I'd say, 'Well, it's X number of dollars.' They'd say, 'Well, they're not goin' to pay that.' I'd say, ' Well, it isn't gonna change my lifestyle, either way. So, no, I won't do it.' Then after I got saved, I just wanted to sing; I just wanted to do; I wanted to be in the Word; I wanted to be prayed for. And it builds faith. One chases a thousand; two chases ten thousand. And so, I began to hear the Word of God. And I learned in II Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith not by sight.
Are you ready to give up because you see somethin' that has been comin' against you? or comin' against a loved one? Are you worn out? Are you shot, as the world would say? Have you just had it? you just flat wanta give up? Well, Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. We walk not by sight, but we walk by faith. Praise God.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Are you seekin' God? You say, 'Well, I have seen people of faith. This has happened to them; and that has happened to them. And they've even died.' Duh, we're livin' in a fallin' world, guys. But Jesus said, He has given us power to tread upon the serpent and the scorpion, the devil, the enemy. Oh death, where is thy sting? Where is your sting, as it were? The faithful ....... and I pray that I'm one of them to make it to that last breath, that last moment. There's a day comin' when we will step through to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. And until that day comes, I'm goin' to live from faith to faith. I'm gonna live from victory to victory. And when there are failers that come in my life, I'm not gonna live those failers. I'm gonna let God carry me through those times of trials. Brothers and sisters, give everything you have to God. Put your faith and your trust in Jesus christ. Wherever you are, whither you're in a prison cell, or wherever you are, God is there with you. God is there to bless you. God is there to heal you. He is the healer. Praise God.
Lord, I lift up each and every one who is watchin'. You in particular. And I pray that faith will come upon you. I pray that if you haven't received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that you would receive Him now into your heart, into your mind, into your flesh, and into your spirit. Let your spirit be filled with the power of God, be filled with the Holy Ghost. Put your faith, put your trust in the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Hallelujah. I come into agreement with you, and so be it, in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Amen and amen.
Whatever you're believin' for, by faith, I believe that it will be done in your life. And that it is done. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement that brought us peace was upon Him. And by His strips we are healed. Praise you, Jesus. Praise you, Holy Ghost. Praise you, Lord Jesus. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Put your faith in Jesus.
