STICK TO JESUS

Praise the Lord. I've been out on the road quite a bit, doing a lot of auditoriums and arenas. We've been seeing some pretty rowdie people out there. We've got a lot of rowdie bunch tonight, praise God. Lot of times when I've been in the arenas we've have unsaved, and they're expecting some kind of head-banger concert. And that's what they get, a head-banger concert. We bang satan's head in the name of Jesus every night. He banged our heads long enough before we were saved. Now we have power through the blood of Jesus. That doesn't mean we gloat in the power, but it means we are very confident in our King and in our Lord. I'm not very confident in me, but I'm confident in Jesus.

I remember when I first started ministering, when I first started witnessing, I thought everybody was goin' to love me. This is goin' to be just like Broadway, or just like doin' Jesus Christ Superstar, or doin' the Bible Black Tour, or some of the heavy metal tours that I did. And everybody's gonna love me, you know. We're gonna go out, and I'm gonna praise God. I'm gonna come out sayin', 'Jesus set me free.' And it's gonna be 'da-ta-da-ta-da-ta-da', you know. Then, all of a sudden the reviews started coming in. And, in every city I went to, there were men who wanted to kill me. Fortunately, none of those pastors were successful. :) Then, I realized, I'm walkin' some new turf here. I went to the Lord. And I said, 'I can't make it. This is serious here. This is definitely the big league here.' When you're serving the Lord Jesus, that's the big league. Serving Jesus is the big time. What can be more phenomenal than seeing somebody give their heart to Jesus Christ? What can be more phenomenal than witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ and seeing a drug addict come forward, who's bound up, give their heart to the Lord, and get delivered by the blood of Jesus. What's more big time, if you want, than that? What's more powerful in this universe, what means more than that? and I said to Jesus, 'I'm not gonna make it. I can't make it.' He said, 'You're right. You can't.' I said, 'What?' He said, 'But I can. Stick with Me.' How many stick with Jesus, here?

You know, it's been wild out there. How many have heard that there's a warrant for my arrest? How many are surprised by that? :) I used to get arrested some before I knew the Lord for doin' things wrong. I don't have a problem with gettin' arrested now for doin' things right. I'll tell what's goin' on. I went into Massachusetts and I did a concert there. And some witches in the area, there's 2,400 of them in the town that I was in, they've leveled a complaint. Trumped up charges, said that I had beaten up a witch. The only one we beat up was satan. We beat up the devil. And they said that I was harrassing witches. That was my reason for comin' into the town, was to harrass the witches. And they said I was violating their Constitutional rights. They claim that I was grabbing people in the streets, and making them raise their hands and pray to God. And, this might blow your mind, if I wasn't serving Jesus I wouldn't understand something like this, if it was happening in the natural. But, the State Attorney General of Massachusetts has issued a warrant for my arrest. And I'm doin' a concert there Halloween, so we're gonna see what goes down there.

I don't believe we need to back up, do you? Do you think we need to back up from the devil? I don't, and I'm not goin' to. I didn't back up before I was saved, when it came to doin' somethin'. When I wanted to get somethin' done because of wantin' to make money, or wantin' to get famous, or wantin' to do this. I didn't back up. The first time I ever really backed up, was when I became demon possessed and fear took a hold of me, before I was saved, in a heavy way. Then I was kind of a pawn of the devil, but that was after I had already, so called, made it. And was already living in the big houses, and dealin' with the bad boys of rock'n'roll. At that point it got to the place were I couldn't do so called normal things. I had trouble just talkin' with people on a normal level. If I went to an airport, we had to go through the V.I.P. We had to get our own airplanes. We had to go through things, 'cause I didn't like crowds, I didn't like bein' around normal people. Because I was paranoid, and filled with fear. But I remember those early days when I was trying to make it. And people even threatened to kill me out there. They said I was a hippie dog, and all this kinda stuff. You know, some things never change. But I praise God that I'm under the blood. If I was willin' to fight before I knew Jesus, How much more willin' am I to go forward now that I know the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords? We're not called to back up. We're called to resist the devil and he will flee.

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
