MY SWEET LOOK

Praise the Lord. Hi. I'm Jeff Fenholt. I want to welcome you here. We've been saved out of drugs and garbage. I guess I was pretty rowdie. Still a tiny bit rowdie. I know it's hard to believe because I'm so sweet and demure. :)

You want to see my sweet look? (sweet look - large open eyes, big grin) :) There it is, praise God. That's my sweet look.

I had a pastor one time, I had a guy get on me pretty heavy in an outreach. I was in a big auditorium. This guy was giving me a rough way to go in the audience. And I got on the guy pretty, pretty heavy, because I couldn't get any ushers or anybody to help me. I didn't want him to disrupt it for everybody else. So I got on the guy pretty heavy. The pastor, the chaplain, it was a big university. And it wasn't out in the mid-west or in Oklahoma or any place. It was another one. But in any event, after it was over, the chaplain got me in the back. And he said, 'We want to pray for you.' I said, 'Ah, O.K. Alright you want to pray for me.' And he got all these guys together. And they started praying for me. And they were laying hands on me. And they were saying, 'Lord, give him a sweet spirit, 'cause he's too rough.' :) Somebody laughed out there and threw me off, totally through off my gig. :) And they started putting their hands on me and praying, 'Oh, Lord. Give him a sweet spirit. He was too rough on that guy.' And I thought, 'Well, O.K. They can pray.' And then the guys praying over me said, 'You have to learn to love your enemies.' I said, 'Well, Satan is your enemy. Do you love him?' Then I realized I got to let them pray. So, they kept praying. I thought, 'I'll just let them pray. But if they start saying, Come out! Then I'm going to put my foot down on that one.' And so after they were done praying, they said, 'Lord, give him a sweet spirit. Let him be sweet and loving. And let him love his enemies, and those that persecute, and those that taunt. And let him love them. Let him be sweet.' Then they said, 'Amen.'

And I tried to look as sweet as I could. I stood there. I went, I did that look, I went (sweet face look) like that. :) Then the pastor, the chaplain, and all these guys, they said, 'How do you feel, now?' I said, 'Sweet. I feel really sweet. :) This is sweet.' I did like that (sweet face look). :) Then they said, 'Well, we're glad you're on our side.' I said, 'Well, I am glad too.' And he said, 'Well, you were too rough on this guy out there.' And I said, 'Well, I would have appreciated it if you guys would have done something about him. Because the guy was giving me that gesture you get on the freeway when you cut somebody off. And after about ten minutes, he's going with both hands. Finally, I got on him kinda hard.' But the chaplain said, 'Jeff, you need to be sweet.' And I said to him, 'Chaplain, let me tell you somethin'. I'm going into San Quentin prison in two days. And I'm going to speak in the yard to 5800 men. Are you always sweet when you witness?' :) He said, 'Yes.' I said, 'Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy you a ticket. You come in there and be sweet. And we'll see what happens here.' :)

And the Word of God says, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven. Whose sin is covered. Psalm 32. Alright now here we go. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity. And in whose spirit there is no quile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture is turned unto draught of summer. I acknowledged my sin unto thee. (This is, I was once lost. I was once a sinner.) The Word of God says, I acknowledged my sin unto thee. And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said I will confess my transgression unto the Lord. And Thou forgaveth the iniquity of my sin.

I praise God that He hasn't left me in darkness, but He delivered me into the light.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. Roaring in his soul because he kept silent. He didn't go to the Lord and confess his sins. There is a roaring being spoken of here, that's a roaring in the soul. He was roaring because he kept silent. He didn't confess his iniquity unto the Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord God. The Word of God says, He shall cry unto Me, Thou art my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Psalm 89:26. He's meaning me, and Reeni, and you shall cry unto Him, Thou art my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Praise the Lord God.

My Deepest Love,
Jeff
