Praise the Lord God. Praise Jesus. Praise the Lord. I've been getting a lot of interesting calls, a lot of stuff's goin' on out there. Had the producer for Alice Cooper, some of you head-bangers out there...How many like to head-bang out there? Good, let's bang satan's head tonight in the name of Jesus. I stopped banging my own head, and started banging satan's head. I think it's better. You don't wind up havin' to talk like that either later on [talk as if you just smelled helium]. Producer for Alice Cooper called me up. We had a conversation. He'd been watchin' us on television, said a lot of the guys are watchin' us. You know the guitarist, some of you guys have been wondering why Alice's lead guitarist left. Because he got saved and washed in the blood. Some of you are wondering what happened to the former bass player of Slayer and Venom, his name's Killer. Well, I'm proud and happy to announce that I've prayed with him. He's now brother Killer, and he quit. Maybe I shouldn't be naming names, my wife doesn't like that. My old manager called me from K.I.S.S., He manages K.I.S.S.. His name's Larry. He called me up and said, 'Man, you are such a controversy out there. Let's get back together. Let's go out and clean up on this thing. Right?' I hope, Larry, you don't mind me saying it. He said, 'Let's go out and clean up on this thing. I've got a band that I'd like you to join.' I said, 'Really? What group is that?' He said, 'I'd like you to jam with a band called Blue Murder.' Yeah, we'd really clean up on that one. :) I love Larry with all my heart. I love Larry. I love a lot of the people that I haven't seen in the heavy metal scene for a long time. I still love you guys. I'm still prayin' for you, even those of you associated with Judist Priest, that wrote that article and called me a heavy metal traitor. It just broke my heart. :) But I love you guys. Even Toni Iomi, who tried to disclaim that you ever knew me, after I sang with Black Sabbath for six months. I still love you, too, Toni. And I'm prayin' for you, brother, that you're goin' to get saved, and washed in the blood, and filled with the Holy Ghost. It is funny how when you start serving the Lord, a lot of people try to disassociate themselves from you. And, some of those people wind up coming to Jesus. My bass player, former bass player for Black Sabbath, was out there with Gary Moore, [I'm naming a lot of head-banger groups]. He was in Rainbow, with Deep Purple's members, played for Ronnie Dio. Well, Craig Grubber has given his heart to Jesus, and he's serving the Lord. Praise God.

I believe we belong out there, where the action is. And by action, I'm talking about....What we do when we come together for fellowship, that's action, too. But what it is, we all are getting fed, we get to sit under a man. I'm not a preacher. I don't know how to preach. But it is wonderful that there are people who know how to preach, like Pastor Billy Joe here. Praise the Lord Jesus. It's not just knowin' how, it's called an anointin' of God.

I had one man come to me one time in an airport. He said, 'You're the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life.' And he was a very big man with a particular group of people. He's a preacher. I'm not goin' to name him. I love him. I really do love him. But he came up to me in the airport. And he said, 'You're the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life.' [Yell from crowd] Thank you very much. Praise God. [whisper] 'I quit. I'm not speakin' anymore.' :) You think it's weird now, Dudette. You should have seen it in the old days, that would have stopped a clock!

I had a woman come up to me recently, and say, [after I had been witnessing to 6,000 people; a huge altar call; people getting saved; Jesus was moving; and we were lifting up the name of Jesus. How many know the Word of God doesn't say, If Jeff be lifted up on the earth. The Word of God says, Jesus says, If I be lifted up on the earth, I will draw all men unto Me. Praise the Lord.] I had a woman come up to me after a tremendous night of ministry. She came up to me afterward, and didn't say anything about all the people that got saved; or pray for me because I was exhausted; or anything. She came up to me and said, 'Why do you wear your hair so long?' I said, 'Excuse me?' She said, 'Why do you wear your hair that length?' I said, 'Because I thought it was too long, so I cut it off!' :) Then the next thing was, [Jeff said] 'Can I pray with you?' 'No! No! No! That's alright.'

Anyway this evangelist came up to me, or a preacher, I quess. He said, 'You're the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I love you. But I don't understand it.' I said, 'What don't you understand?' He said, 'You stand up there with your long hair, your crumpled suits. You stumble through the Scripture. You obviously never really have gotten any kind of real solid background.' [And I , heh, the best background you can get is the power of the Holy Ghost. I believe.] But anyway. And I'm not coming against people learnin'. I'll tell you, I wish, as a matter of fact, I'm prayin' on finding the time right now in the Lord, and the Lord giving me the situation to be able to go and get the knowledge that I would like to have, some of the knowledge from a wonderful University, like this University right here. So, I don't come against anybody with a degree in Theology, believe me, I don't. But this guy said, 'You stumble through the Scripture, stand here in your crumpled suits, your long hair. You sing a few songs. Then you look at this audience and you say, 'Everybody that wants to get saved, come forward.' You wave your arms; praise God; hundreds of people, thousands of people come forward. I don't understand it.' I looked him straight into the face, and I said, 'Well, that's right. You probably don't. It's called an anointing of the Lord.' The anointing of God comes first. And you know what? God says, I'll choose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. He likes to put people like ex-head-bangers, or bikers, or ex-businessmen that were ripping people off, or housewives that at one time were afraid to stand up and speak in public. He likes to raise up people like that because nobody can give credit to anybody but Jesus.

I admire Billy Graham with all my heart, but I'm not Billy Graham. I've never met him; never been able to talk with him. He preached one time about me, before I was saved. :) He mentioned me in a sermon, and I tried to call into the ministry and wanted to talk to him. They thought it was a crank call when I said that I was the one he was talkin' about. But, I've never met Billy Graham. I admire him with all my heart. How many admire Billy Graham and his ministry? But if I cut my hair off; and put on some really lovely suits; and comb my hair back and nice; and tried to be like Billy Graham; I couldn't. Because I'm not Billy Graham! How would you like to see Billy Graham in a long blonde wig? This one would, here, he'd like to see it. Well, Billy, it's up to you, brother. I can't see Billy Graham starting 'Dirt Balls For Christ'. Can you? :)

But there's a place for all of us in the body of Christ. I want to tell you, some of you might have been put upon in the church. You might have been intimidated by some misguided people that say there's no place for you in the body of Christ to witness. That's a lie from the pit of hell. There's a place for you in the body of Christ. And We Need Every Single Person In The Body Of Christ.

We, also need to strike down an Absalom spirit in the body of Christ. It's always trying to get the one-upmanship on this ministry, on that ministry. We've got to stop holding some press conferences as soon as we find out some dirt about somebody. And we've got to start protecting our own. The Word of God says, Where the corpse lays, the vultures gather. Well, if there's a spiritual corpse somewhere, or if there is something that has happened; when you see the people flocking together to pick at it, you can rest assured, those are the vultures. We need to pray for them. But, we need to point out the sin. And I'm tired of people in the body of Christ; I'm tired of people saying they have a ministry to try to point out what's wrong with this chrisitan brother, or that christian brother, or this sister, or that sister. I believe it's time...this is war.

This is war. And if you don't believe it's war, I've never felt the warfare as strong in my life as this year [1992]. People skinning animals and sticking them in my yard. People putting bats in the mailbox. And people putting dead things in our lawn. People sitting in front of cars, and standing in front of my house, cursing with satanic signs and doing all this stuff. I'll guarantee you this, I love my family. And I've talked about personality, you better pray, if I get a hold of any of you guys around my house, that I'm not backsliding at the moment! I might not be able to stop them from trying it, but I do intend to break them of the habit! It's warfare.

I don't care if you're a Catholic who loves Jesus, and washed in the blood. You're my brother. You're my sister. I don't care if you're a Presbyterian, if that's where you say you've been all you're life. I don't care if you're a Methodist, or a Baptist, or a Bapticostal, or a Pentacostal, or whatever. I don't care. As long as you love Jesus. Let's get together and let's bust the devil in the name of Jesus Christ.
